Default windows, air conditioner, stereo, heated seats, gear indicator all out

Came out of 7 eleven and noticed that my gear indicator stayed in park even though I was in reverse. Then noticed air conditioning, stereo, windows, were all out. Also sun roofs. Relay?

I do not see one relay that controls all of those. Any ideas?

I may be wrong (I often am) but those all seem to be run from the BCU apart from the autobox which has it's own ECU. Have you tried disconnecting the battery for say 30 minutes (make sure you have your radio code first) and then reconnect it to see whether the system resets itself but there's no guarantees as the ECU's all have memories. Apart from that, unfortunately, it's a long trawl through the wiring diagrams and trouble shooting sections in the RAVE manual.

So I went out to try what you just suggested and decided to start it up one more time and see what else might not be working and all were working?? Could this have been a bad start up? Low battery our something like that? Too weird.

I guess I will just watch it now.

Keep an eye on it. There are more problems with electronics and ECU's on D2's than there is with V8 engines . It's probably, as the LR 'professionals' at the main dealerships always say "it's a computer glitch" , which is the coverall for every frickin thing that goes wrong on these trucks. I'm pleased it's working OK now for you.

Still no issues. I assume it will just pop up randomly again some day.

Ah the best way to fix a land rover: just leave it alone for a few days and it will work itself out.

in my experience with electrics/electronics- if a bunch of stuff, or all stuff, goes out- check the ground. or, like posted, maybe a bad/low battery?

You're probably right in that the more you fiddle and worry the worse they get

You probably said something to hurt it's feelings and it was sulking...

My woman said I haven't spoken to her in over a month; I said I was afraid to interrupt her.
