Default Windows going down more slow then usual? I need some advice please

My windows in my 2004 Discovery either go down incredibly slow or when I attempt to raise them they go up incredibly slow. I am wondering if this is a commonality among these trucks or if its just mine. What can I do about this problem. By the way I put in new battery into the truck so I know its not an electrical fault. I have no idea and I do not feel like taking it to the shop as of right now and would like to know what to do.

--Thanks.... Travis

Have your alternator tested, if it is not putting out enough power it will cause them to run slow.

Do they make any noise, like a popping or sound like they are binding up?

Default bulldozer, i had to have the motor on my rear windows replaced on my 04.............

right after I bought it (bought it 2 years ago) because mine started doing the same thing. Thankfully it was still under warranty at the time.

As Spike said, get your battery/alternator checked at your local parts store, should be between 13.6 and 14,4 volts. If it is OK, then try some spray silicone on the window tracks.
