Default Windshield cowl and pillars. OEM or fiberglass?

I need to replace all of it. Trying to decide if I should get OEM stuff or the fiberglass stuff from Malaysia on eBay? Looking for opinions...

I have this same question. The Malaysia ones on eBay have a price I can't just ignore, but I find it weird that they have no vents for fresh air intake.

Price really isn't a concern since after shipping from Malaysia there is very little difference from OEM. I just want to know wyiwh is a better water tight long term solution.

Guess it depends on where you source the OEM. I'd probably buy from Atlantic Brits, pretty big price difference. I'm curious why the Malaysia version is sealed. Is it an improvement over OEM? Is it cheaper to manufacture and they just pretend it's a feature?

Atlantic British is the most expensive by far. The cost is within 25 bucks OEM vs Malaysian. The outside air vent is a source of water ingress and really isn't necessary since the cowl isn't air tight

Yes, rovers are far from airtight. You are effectively always on outside air one way or another lol

jastutte says they the cowl has no issues when using the ac. I too need to repalce both pillars and the cowl. I am going to have the pieces sprayed with bedliner when I get them. Im gonna do the mirrors, flared fender pieces, the grill, & a few other trim pieces as well. I'll get the truck sprayed with also. They can color match and UV the bedliner stuff now. Its expensive, but should last a long time.

Idk and it's off an 01, probably original...unless you can shed some light on the casting marks.
