Default Windshield cowl/ plenum and water leaks

Noticed today my windscreen plenum/ cowl is pretty busted up. It's in three or maybe more pieces.
With rain in the future, just a few days away actually.

Am I looking at definite leaks to the interior?

Gonna hit the junkyard and see if I luck out and find something more intact than what I have and bed liner the thing for strength. Maybe.
Even that will be after the rain had already hit unfortunately.

Here in Las Vegas it rains Crazy hard when it does rain and all these leak posts got me worried. Haha

Eventually going to order the fiberglass one i suppose. But that's not in the cards at the moment.

I have same problem. For now I just put some clear flexiseal under it and taped it until it dries. Hopefully that will be a decent fix.

Nah. I drove around with a busted one for years in SE Texas where it does rain a lot. Just make sure that water can’t get into the air intake on the passenger side.

Only spot that would cause an issue = directly above the air intake for the HVAC. There are drains on each side of that bulkhead and I would check them often (especially if you park under a tree). Besides that the water should drain out and cause no issues even with cracks.

Will dig into it tonight and check the drains.
Make sure no water is gonna get its way in there.

Cleared the sunroof drains last night they were clogged pretty bad. Couldn't even get air through em.

Has not rained since I've owned it. Only been wet briefly in carwashes.

I've been meaning to fix the crack in mine with some black flex seal tape. It's cracked into 4-5 pieces right at the center mount bolt.
