Default RE: Windshield Washer Not Working - 2000 Disco

Rear washer working. pump ok. the problem happens with most vehicles at one point or another. sounds like the fluid line/s to the washer outlet is clogged. Follow the lines from the tank to the outlets and check to see if they or one of the connectors are clogged. I am sure but I don't think they two pumps. There is also (ususally) a screen at the bottom of the tank make sure it is clear. Since you just got yours I will state my ever present battle cry. Maintainence. Get it where it should be. Keep it there. Fix things as they happen. Do as much as you can yourself. I always recommend that you get either the haynes manual or the rover shop manual for your vehicle. The cd is as good I just like the book in front of me when I am working. Look around the forum for information in the faq, and search sections. Some of the problems with rovers are relatively easy diy projects. All rover dealers will cost alot. A parts supplier list is on the search section. a good thing to have.
Check ebay for the books or cd manual. the cd is around $7.00 . Welcome to the forum. Hope this helps. gotta love a rover. duboff
