Default Windshield Washer switch/Steering Wheel

When I was checking for circuits I removed the turn signal/windshield washer arm. I am trying to put it together but I cannot (not sure how I got it out, but it did come out......). The RAVE says to remove the wheel, airbags, etc....Have any of you replaced this arm without removing the wheel? Thanks and Rover On.

Well, much like new spark plug wires, taking the wheel off was not the problem which I read about. Disconnect the battery (negative first), wait 5 minutes for the residual power in the truck to drain, lock the wheel, undo the 2 torx screws, lift the airbag remove the air bag wire (which is quite tight), lightly pound the wheel at 9 and 3 positions, pull it off, and remember to loosen the screw at the bottom of the turn signal contraption so that it easily slides towards you.
