i thought it was this last snowfall we had and nearer your house. i dont mind driving to off road but at some point its going to pay to get a truck and trailer because the gas mileage is shot on the rover and is only going to get worse as i add armor. not to mention if something goes horribly wrong on the trail i would like to be able to get home.

Thats at my moms cottage, we go there every Christmas and during the summer.
I'm not worried about not getting home, I would drive my truck around the world in the shape it is in right now.
The worse thing thats happened is the alternator went out half way there 2 summers ago.
Drove there with no alt, called around and picked up a replacement the next day.
Installed it with a crescent wrench and pliers in my moms garage.
What could go horribly wrong on the trail? I get stuck?
You need to have faith man!!
As for the price of gas, its cheaper up north than back home.
190 miles each way and it takes a half a tank to get there, we drive around on the other half, fill it back up and then go home.
