I have an 04 SE with 38k miles on it. It is my second rover and I can't say enough about them,my first discoactually saved my life. I was hit head on by a drunk driver in a F-150 doing about 55 mph.
Anyway, my problem is that my wiper blades are freezing up, literally. The blade is stiff as a flagpole because ice is getting is sticking to the blade. I called the dealer and they suggested I switch out the series II arms for the Series I arms. Apparently they don't make winter blades for the Series II. Is this true? Has anyone done the switch? Any issues? If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Yes you can buy wiper blades for your DII, either at the dealer or www.atlanticbritish.com
If you replace your wiper arms with ones from a DI then you can buy wiper blades anywhere.

I know what you are talking about with the wiper blades freezing, keep the heat off of the windshield. When the glass gets hot the snow melts then re-freezes from the wind hitting it as you drive. Same thing with the wiper blades, they get hot and then the same things happens to them that happens to the glass.
Also buy de-icer windshield solvent for use in the winter time. I stock up on it when it goes on clearance in the spring.
For best results do not mix the de-icer solvent with the standard el' cheapoblue stuff. Use up all the blue before using the de-icer, or do like I do and just use the de-icer year round.
