Default Wipers working intermitently!

Sometimes I turn the wipers on and nothing happens. Sometimes after a couple minutes, they start working suddenly. It is possibly temperature related (once the car warms up, it works) but can't be sure. Also, sometimes they work just fine. So far however, once they start working, they stay working. They don't suddenly stop working after they've started.

This is kind of an emergency as we're getting a lot of snow right now and last time I about ran off the road blind. Appreciate the help up front.

its the switch. The greasy goo in the switch gums it up......give me a minutes and i'll add the link to fix it...

https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...tch-fix-46886/

ask and you shall receive. when you turn on the heat and aim the vent at the switch it heats up and starts workin. mine did the same thing..

That stuff didn't come off easy...glue is an accurate description! 5 Q-tips & some break parts cleaner over about 5 minutes got it that good. Going to use the dremel brush wheel for good measure. We'll see if it worked. Fingers crossed as a new unit is $330 from AB and out of stock.

It'll work, just be sure to coat the areas with fresh dilectric tune up grease (like Permatex), not bulb grease or vasoline or anything like that or it will act up again down the line.

If you ever have trouble with the turn signal stock, you will be able to do the same thing.
Glad it worked.
Pretty obvious the issue once the switch is opened up.
