Default Wire with no end

I recently have been getting the amigos popping up at random times, I'm thinking maybe this wire has something to do with it. Can anytime tell me what it is and why the drivers side isn't attached? The passenger side is the pic that is connected.

And before someone says to read the codes first, I can't. It currently has a salvage title (cosmetic only) and I am waiting on the paperwork to come back from the state to approve the rebuilt title status. So unless someone has a code reader they want to lend me, this thing can't leave the driveway.

That is the ABS connection plug.
But at some time in the passed an new ABS sensor or hub assembly with the new longer wire that gets solder right to the Wabco ABS module may have been installed.
Trace the wire on the ABS sensor from the hub near that plug and see if it goes all the way to the passenger side wheel well kick panel.

I believe you are right sir. After looking for the wire coming from the wheel through the fender well, I noticed that it is now running through the firewall. I appreciate the response, I guess I'll give changing the shutter valves a shot.

If you're thinking of keeping the vehicle you might want to drop the $70-$80 on something like an Ultraguage anyway to monitor other stuff, reset and read codes. Although I think there are cheaper phone tools which can work.

Without a way of reading codes you are trying to fix stuff with only seeing half the story and end up throwing parts at the problem.

Yes, that wire is the end of an ABS sensor which has been replaced, leaving the old one in place. Looks like the PO tried to fix the Amigos?

Read up on the option B repair. If you want a totally free thing to try. Sometimes this knocks out the lights without replacing the shuttle valve module. But the correct thing to do is new valve thingy, plus new wabco module seals. Fixes the problem of brake fluid weeping past the seals and buggering up the shuttle valve. Ie, spending money which might be saved if you could read the codes.

Either way, good luck. Report back with the solution. Always interesting to know.
