Default Wiring up some Hella driving lights... need some help.

Hi,

I'm wiring up some Hella driving lights on my 97 Disco. I purchased an auxilary light switch... https://www.roverparts.com/Parts/AMR3751G.cfm

I am installing it right next to the fox light switch... it fits perfect and I even found a harness from a salvage yard. So here's my dilemma... when I tested it on the bench I figured out where each position was... power in, ground, power out, and running light. It worked great and I had no problems with the running light or the little red indicator light. So I marked them all and wired them up...

power - tied into fog light switch
ground - tied into fog light switch
running lights - tied into cruise switch (I used the cruise running light because the fog switch running light goes out when you turn brights on)
power out - ran it to the hella relay which ties to the battery to run the lights

Well now that it's wired up the little red indicator light is on when the lights are off and turns off when the lights are on. Other than that it's all wired up and looks and works perfectly.

Any ideas on why the on/off indicator light decided to go backwards on me??

Thanks,

Erick

only thng I can think of is that you wired your toggle backwards....off is on and on is off. swap the wires.
