Default For the wives.

I have had my 03 for about 2 years and just lifted it and put new tues on it. Needless to say this gsa started the obsession. Does anyone know of any support groups for the wive of Disco owners. Some way to cope with the alienation and lack of attention?

They meet at the local mall and Target stores from 10:00AM - 9:00 PM most days, and on-line at eBay....

The exceptionally helpful wife will call to ask if you need anything from Harbor Freight or the Auto Parts store, she's bringing home your favorite take out food...

The fabulously helpful wife will tell you to move out of the way and hand her the breaker bar, she'll get that crank pulley off for you....

The enthusiast wife will text from the salvage yard, she has located a 2003, with a honkin' roof rack that she will bring home in 20 minutes.

LMAO! This is exactly what I told my wife. (Of course, she goes one level further than those listed above...she's not just willing to go get parts from the pick-n-pull, but she's now shopping for Series III or a Defender for herself.)

Ditto. My wife now drives the Disco daily. After initially putting up a stink about it....she now prefers to drive it over the car we bought for her She's got her sights on an LR4 now $$$$$$$$

So to the OP....make/let your wife drive it daily for a week or two, and you might never get it back.

or you could just do it the real expensive way. When saving for your lift, or tires, or wheels, or whatever have you, factor in a present for her. I bought tires, she got a new purse.

This all sounds like what when on when i brought my Disco home i think the exact words were " what do i have to do to make this mine" theres the obvious answer lol. but now she too is shopping for one of her own the only down side is that with three kids and sports and all the running around it equates to big $$$$ in gas.
