Default Won't start after dead battery - 96 Disco

She sat most of the winter and the battery died (I know, my fault.) After putting in a brand new battery, the starter cranks like mad but the engine won't fire at all. Odd electrical goings-on: some accessories like the power windows/seats, radio, interior lights, wipers, etc. don't work. Others, like the horn and turn signals, do still work. When the key is turned on I hear bing-bong, bing-bong, bing-bong, biiiiiiiiiiiiiinggggg....... the last bing never stops.

Any ideas? Maybe fried a computer installing the new bat or something?

Make sure the new battery is fully charged.
Just because it is new does not mean it is full.

Try resetting the alarm, stick the key in the drivers door and turn it to unlock 3 times.
