XYZ switch electrical connections

XYZ switch electrical connections
Can anyone please point me in the direction of a wiring diagram for this switch and how it connects through to the Parking Distance Control unit. Just had a new XYZ switch fitted but now, intermittently, the PDC sounds continuously when reversing.
It can be stopped by jiggling the automatic gearbox selector lever but as I notice that the R indicator still remains on what's got me wondering is whether or not there is a separate contact from the XYZ switch that tells the PDC reverse has been selected and that this is a bit iffy. I admit it does sound a bit far-fetched but stranger things have happened.

Take a look at the RAVE and this document http://www.4x4community.co.za/forum/...4&d=1313492040
The RAVE should have the circuit diagram for the PDC and an explaination of how it works.. The document link is for the trans. It contains info on the outputs of the xyz.

Very interesting voyage of discovery (no pun intended). That XYZ switch actually carries the current flowing to the reversing lights. It also directly feeds the PDC plus a whole host of other components including, as far as I can see the dashboard display 'R' and the LED in the shift selector alongside the R.
Now here is the interesting thing, pressing down on the shift can kill the continuous tone from the PDC (when it is in fault mode) but the LED and dashboard still display 'R'. Very strange.
