so my radio has be saying "code" since a bout the rover last week sometime... i had a code provided by the PO and had tried every assortment of put in the code, turn off radio, try code again, wait 1-20 hours, try code again, disconnect battery, try code again... but to no avail... then yesterday as i was leaving work to head to the parts store... i tried the code just out of habit more than hope... and it came on... hooray!!

if you put the code in wrong 3 times, you have to leave the key on for 1 hour with the radio on. Then it will accept the code again.

 

Unless radio has been replaced. The code should be the last 4-5(depending on theradio fitted)digits of the barcode number on the sticker inside the glovebox on the left side.
