Alright, so the car won’t go out of park. We have narrowed it down to the break light switch. I have had issues with the brake pedal not wanting to push down fully to turn on and put into gear for a while but the dealership has never been able to “figure it out” I am pretty sure I have it figured out now. If I’m wrong let me know. The switch wasn’t filling engaged when we removed it but my problem is when I go to install a new one it doesn’t want to turn all the way to get it all the way in and engaged. The 2 upper clips broke off a new switch when I tried. Any ideas what it could be or what I could be doing wrong?
