Default Discovery Sport Battery Low Warning

Hi

I purchased a 2015 discovery sport recently, its under warranty with the dealership and its come up with a battery low warning, they have replaced the battery but the warning light came on a few days later, its not going back until October, its not on every day its just random.

I have access to a icarsoft unit and when I do the diagnostic check I can't see when section the battery low warning should be under, is anyone familiar with the icarsoft and know which section I should be looking at?

Yesterday the battery low was not displaying but I did the voltage check and found

Battery Voltage 11.99 V
Min from this test 11.95 V
Max from this test 12.09 V

This seems low but the battery low was NOT on the dashboard

Today the battery low was on the dashboard, again I checked the voltage

Battery Voltage 12.08 V
Min from this test 12.05 V
Max from this test 12.21 V

Im confused as to why the battery low wasn't displayed on Sunday but it was today, my initial thought was the alternator isnt charging the battery enough but could it be anything else?

Thanks

Battery voltage is very low. The Discovery Sport is never happy with low voltage. Place the caron charge overnight with a smart AGM charger ,, CTEK is the most favoured brand by owners and they make the re-branded Land Rover charger.

Most owners place car on charge at least once a month.
