I have seen a few threads regarding gearbox faults but none that specifically address my issue.
I had my transmission replaced in my 2016 Discovery Sport a month ago and twice this week when I have come to a complete stop at a light, the gearbox fault light comes on and says reselect gear. The gear lights by the gearshift are flashing and it only allows me to put it in Park. I cannot put it back in drive from there, I have to turn the car off, restart, then I am able to put in drive.
Has anyone else had this issue?

 

I have RR Evoque 2012 (58k miles) and have the same issue, both batteries changed, gears are still not selecting - flashing - going in (P) by default…. Unable to drive as none of the gears are engaging.

I’m still looking for a viable solution… pls can someone advise…cheers
