Hi,

2019 Discovery Sport will not have the voltage quality monitor conector for auto start/stop in the luggage compartment.
It is under the dashbord and looks quite comlicated to reach and disconect that plug in order to disable the auto start stop feature.

Is there any circcuit braker to pull or any means that you know of to permanently disable that system without affecting other features?

part of emission and fuel economy ratings for government ,, so no it can not be disabled.

 

Geee, very inconvenient switching it off every time.

 

Just leave it on, what harm can it do. Except save fuel

Starting and stoping and engine causes premature engine failure AND burns more fuel. It is just another BS Leftist mandate. People that just blindly accept this nonsense just make the rest of us cringe.

 

yes when an engine is stopped it burns much more fuel
