I'm sure maybe posted before and new here.
Came out to car and warning 'critical oil level'
AA to garage, only to be told somethings failed (likely camchain tensioner) and ruined engine.
was asked if I wanted to pay for a new engine as out of warranty. OMD

The car has covered 50k miles and was fully serviced November about 1000 miles ago.
how can LR just say, well its not their problem when something that isn't serviceable has failed.

i'm expecting a £15k bill and will likely just sell car for parts as wont pay this to have a car that could go again.

I've asked LR to speak to HQ and advise what recall I have.

Any thoghts
