Turbo Whirring / LandRover service
Hi,
I have taken my Discovery Sport to Land Rover due to a whirring sound when accelerating, which Land Rover have identified comes from the Turbo.
My Discovery Sport is covered by an extended warranty, but Land Rover are saying if there is no fault then I will have to pay for the exploratory work beyond the first hour and that they have to take the Turbo apart to find the fault. They cannot tell me how long this will take and will not give me a quote for the work.
Does anyone have any advice? Is this the norm?
Thank you
