2011Range rover 5.0 codes
I purchased a 2011 Range Rover sport supercharged a week ago an it ran good. Had a bit of a knock from the supercharger coupler but seemed to run smooth. No other noises from engine.
During the course of the week I notice a bit of fluctuation on rpm counter at idle and a bit of a stumble during acceleration. but not super noticeable.
Then comes today, stated up as normal an ran it for 5 minutes. Stopped and let idle for 2 minutes in park and the engine started to miss and quickly went into limp mode then stumbling horribly then died. Sounds like a Diesel engine
It will start but not drivable.
There are several codes but if fired up for 30 seconds I get:
P0019
P0018
P061A
I did a bit of investigating. P0018 is for left bank (2). Opened oil filler cap and pushed on timing chain. 1-2 mm flex. Normal?
First code is for P0019 crank position sensor. It is relatively inexpensive so I am going to change it
I know that it appears I am grasping at straws but hoping for the best.
