Thumbs up Gear Heads

Well over the last year I have been getting another motor and everything
ready to in stall.

The first thing I did was to send my ECU to the UK to have it reprogrammed as i was told that with a bigger cam the ECU could shut down, cost $1600 USD (RPI)
I ordered the cam kit $710 (RPI)
Before you go man the prices when I was doing this the Pound was one per two thats one Pound to two Dollars.

The next thing I did was to pick up a remanufactured motor,,
$3913 to door.

Got NPR SuperCats/ Y-Pipe from Rovers North $859, 4 O2 sensors $?

A few months ago I dropped the motor off to have the performance work done port heads, intake, install cam and check to mke sure that other wise the motor was a good reman motor, it is. picked it up last week.
The work was $1035.

My next thing is to take a set of old fuel injectors and have them rebuilt.
After that a few parts here and there knock sensors, motor mounts.

The ECU and SuperCats ane in use now.

I have a place that will install the motor for me a Land Rover shop that are members of the Rover Club and the owner has a D-110.
So overall a good place to get work done.

I think I may find a place to Dyno the Disco before and after,, but for now its little by little as my motor in the Disco still runs good.

Its hard to be a GEAR HEAD for you in the UK a PETRO HEAD.
