Best Year RR for engine swap

Any recommendations for the best year RR for the easiest/cheapest engine swap to a non-RR engine?

A P38 (1996-2002) or classic (up to 1995) would be the only Range Rovers I would consider swapping. Anything after 2002 will be very difficult to get the electronics working properly.
