Where did you get your adapter?

Also on the rear sump conversion, did you use a sprinter oil pan? And the oil pick-up, was it also changed for the rear sump?

I have an om602 I'm putting in a disco 2 as well now that I'm done with my VW TDI 1st gen 4 runner conversion. I love the build and can't wait to hear how she does once you get the compushift.

Any idea on getting the factory tach working with the 602? I think it runs with an alternator signal on the Benz.

Not sure what the rear sump came from honestly, i hopped on ebay and searched for an om605 rear sump and found a seller that had it along with the oil pump. The adapter kit i got from a guy in england named Gary at GAZ-FAB. Got ahold of him through whatsapp. As far as the tach i tried to get it to work but no luck so not sure how to help u there. Hopefully compushift has the controllers in stock real soon.

Did you use the 605 oil pump or just the pickup tube from the 605?

Thank you. Looks like the oil pump/pickup and dipstick.

Great info. I was worried about the clearance I'd have with the front sump and center diff.

As oppose to this with the front sump. Scary close 😬

That's great man. I can't wait to see what it does once you get it shifting outside of limp mode. She sounds like a beast.

I called Gary this morning. His afternoon. Very nice guy. He has the 4 individual foot to flex plate mount torque converter (early 22 for us in the USA) in stock.

The crown or ring style that we use on our electronic shift V8 rovers he has coming.

The price is great. I can't wait to get it ordered and coming.

I displayed the video of you driving from my phone to the TV. The little lady (it's her disco) told me this must happen now. I've been sitting on the Mercedes for over a year now.

I take it out to the local gas station close by and i love when people turn to see it with a confused look in their faces hearing the diesel chatter and turbo spooling 🤭🤭
