low range

Do I do normal driving on road towing a heavy trailer in low range?

My boss says to stay in low for my trip about 200miles up the m6 with 2.5 tonne trailer. I thought id be ok inhigh

When he says low, he is likely refering to 3rd gear rather than drive. If you attempt to haul at highway speeds in low range, you'll soon realize all the many reasons that won't work.
