Thanks for the effort! Will this be replacing the existing For Sale forums?

There doesn't seem to be an easy way to mark all the listings as read.

What's the protocol for adding pics to a listing? There's an option to include a URL to a picture however it doesn't seem to work. I tried with http or https, or with just plain www as the leader but each time it said there was an Invalid URL When I included the image inline by using the URL it worked fine so it wasn't a file problem.

Also, I went back to update the title but even thought the listing gets a new timestamp, the title doesn't change. Are titles not editable?

Yes, they are now closed to new listings, replies will be disabled in a few months.

This is something that hasn't been mentioned before, I see what you're talking about. We will have to address this in a future update.

Titles are editable within a certain time window, that is not as long as the content can be edited for. You can use the triangle report post button to submit and request any edits you can't perform yourself.

I'm not sure where you're looking at to upload images, but there is a big box to add images with when you are creating a marketplace thread. I'll include a screenshot with arrows to the two places images can be added to your listing at.

cheers,
robb

My url _https//:www.e28-m5.com/core_bkts.jpg_ worked when using html tags but I couldn't get it to work using this...

Then pasting it here

Because it was returning this every time.

Thank you for taking the time to explain, and the screenshots are helpful, much appreciated!

I can replicate the issue with your image URL, I'm not sure what's going on there. To be honest, I think our assumption is that people will upload directly not via URL. I have to admit i've never tried to add an image via a URL. It's not specific to the Marketplace however, as the same issue persists in this thread. I'll have to confer with our tech team. It may be due to the fact your image is on http, not https. that's about the only thing I can guess.

OK, thanks. FWIW, my server supports https, and I tried it with or without the http/https and just plain www.
