Default Paid membership option?

Hey
What would it take to add a paid membership/donation feature to this forum? LRO has one and I really liked it alot (but did not like how slow the site is and all the ads). Could you guys add it to this site? I for one would certainly make a donation every once in awhile. Maybe add a premium for life feature or something. I think it would also help in paying for the site fees and stuff.

The site owner has maybe 300 sites. Sells ads. Sold in 2010 for 640 million. It is not a hobby or labor of love operation. Save your money, buy an Ultra Gauge, etc. If you can't stand the ads, there are adblock software packages.

Does the adblocker remove those wonderful new f%$#@!g pop-ups we now get to see on members photos? Also, may I ask which one you're using?

I installed "adblock plus" for Firefox and it works great. Blocks most ads on the forum including the new ones on photos and those attached to links. Only known setback is if you use the Realplayer download feature to download videos, then adblocker will block the download function......

Adblock Plus - Surf the web without annoying ads!

You can create a white list.

I've been using it a long time. I also block all ad photos in the vendor section on the main page, the forum banner, pictures people put in their sigs...all the crap like that. The site loads really fast now, outside of threads with huge photos posted in them.
