I have a fault light been coming up on my TD4 Freelander when under load i.e. first started doing it when around 70mph only , as soon as you ease off the throttle it goes back out but recently it has started coming on steep hills and there is a prenounced lack of power as the light comes on ?
The light coming on is the one in the clock where tacho is and as there are two engine fault lights in this clock but the one coming on is the one to the r/h side .

 

took it to a garage today and they think its likely to be the rear fuel pump and/or filter
so ordered the pump and filter today .
