10 plate Freelander 2
New member here needing a bit of advice.
Bit of an odd one - in the process of buying this from an independent trader. Has a LR main dealer 10 year service stamp dated 28-04-20. In the box titled Additional Work Carried out or Recommended has been written the single word CAMBELT. This could mean it was done, or it could mean it was recommended and not done - I guess you can all see my confusion. The online LR service record is blank so no luck there, and also not getting a reply from the LR main dealer who did the service.
Is there any way of physically checking - maybe if the belt was not a make used by LR, or if there were serial numbers on belts?
I think I am heading to changing it just to be sure, but if anyone has any ideas I would be really pleased to hear them.
