1999 Freelander (260000km) 3-door, hard/soft top
Hi all, bought my first car (yay me at the ripe age of 30!) and I got a fair price on a 99 Freelander. The previous owner changed:
- All breaks, pads and lines in 2017
- Springs and suspension in 2015
- Early 2018 the drive belt. HOWEVER, he also said he got it a notch wrong so its high idle RPM and low performance, which is true but also a reason I got this car so I can use the wrench myself for once.
So, when I begin to pluck the engine apart, what do I use to check that the notches and vaulves in the right order?
The ABS and TC lights are on and I thinking of replacing the ABS sensors due to age. The TC unit Im unsure about. Change it as well or just hope the problem goes away with the ABS sensor?
