i have a 2002 freelander. when driving it shift from 2 and it takes about 3 - 5 second to change to 3rd gear. I was told it might be the shift solenoid. Any ideas. Thanks

 

I have the same issue with mine... also, I have a problem with the drivers door not locking with the remote, all the other doors lock except the drivers door, it will just "chatter", the alarm still works and I have tried two separate door lock acutators. I am thinking its the BCM. Would the BCM also cause the transmission not to shift correctly?
