Default Codes P1775 & P0705

2004 HSE randomly throwing codes P1775 (Gearbox Fault) and P0705 (Transmission Range Sensor Circuit Malfunction). Codes come and go with Service Engine Soon light and no apparent cause or effect. Also get random HDC Fault light. Codes and lights clear just as sporadically. Are these problems related in any way? I've noticed no effect in performance or driveability but I want to fix any problems before they get worse. I have only had this vehicle for about 2 months so I am not real familiar with any quirks that it may have. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions???

Default RE: Codes P1775 & P0705

you need a new inhibit switch, its on top of the trany, easy to replace, special tool needed, or a lot of guess and check time to align properly
