Disengage downhill descent
I have an '02 freelander.
Never does offroad.
When the car has been stationary for a while and restarted the downhill descent will automatically engage, high revs and low gear. When the engine is warm it must be stopped and restarted to disengage the downhill descent. That is the only method that works.
I have heard you can disconnect the downhill descent altogether, cut the wire leading to the gearbox???
Any ideas, options
Thanks very much
