Hi,

Can anyone help please? Just cleaning my 2002 TD4 Freelander but accidentally left the ignition on and the N/S window open. After about 10mins the radio suddenly stopped and now when I switch the ignition on the warning lights all flash together and I can't turn the engine over. Also can't now close the window.

Anybody know what I've done?

Help would be appreciated. Any way of closing the window?

I've currently disconnected the battery to see if the ECU needs to reset?

There is coverage of this in the RAVE shop manuals (free download link below, covers 04 Freelander). Might help to try locking/unlocking car several times slowly. Don't "double" up (turn twice) or you will superlock and have even more fun.

If you are immobilized, disconect of battery will only further indicate to alarm system that vehicle is under attack.

May be a dead cell, Freelanders have so much electronics they need a very good battery.
