Faulty wiring??

Default Faulty wiring??

Hi Everyone just joined this forum have a little knoledge on freelanders and will try my best to help anyone that i can,at the moment i have a problem starting my 02 td4,this has happened twice now,the fuel pump does not run when the ignition has been put on,there is no buzzing to prime the system,went through everything with friend who is an auto electrition failed to get it buzzing,then we took off the elec cover next to the fuse box( several 5mm alan keys and we shock a few wires and hew prosto the fuel pump started to prime,this went faultless for several weeks untill this morning when no buzzing from the pump,same thid again off with the cover next to the fuse box shock a few wires but nothing this time,then i hit the actuall box and only then did the pump start to prime???.If anyone can help me with this i will be over the moon if not thanks anyway any sugestion welcome.

Matt,
Welcome to the group. I wish I had more Freelander experience, my strong point ae the Discos.
Hope you are able to loacte the problem. The only thing I can think of would be a failing fuel pump relay, have you checked or replaced that yet?
Let me know how it turns out.

Thanks mike thats a good one didnt think of that,will change the relay to start,and hope that will be it.
