Key FOBS will need to be programmed. A plip programmer or a genuine TestBook T4 are required. I swapped a CCU from a 2002 HSE into a 2003 SE, and it worked fine. Just had to reset the key FOBs. Started, ran, and drove. I have a Silca key programmer, and a TestBook T4, so it was fairly straightforward.
