Hi there
I have a 2002 freelander 1.8 petrol.
I lost complet keys with remote after a year so I both new key with a remote. but doesn't even crank the engine. When u key on it shows all the light.
We've check all fuse and relay seems working properly.
We've bridge the starter direct to the battery, the engine turns well but not starting.

Any idea on what could be wrong?

New key with remote programmed to the car?
also, it sat for a year?? Start with purging the gas, get a new tank of gas in there.

 

We've open the tank and clean it we replaced the petrol pump.
Fuel is running properly but not cranking and no spark.

 

check all fuses with a multi meter for battery voltage

Swap the starter relay with a known good one that's the same
