Default Freelander Crankshaft & Camshaft Position Sensors

Hey guys. New here to this forum, was hoping to find some help. My wife has a 2003 Freelander 2.5 SE. I have done a fair amount of work over the years on her car. We bought her a new car last year and the 2003 has just sat for about a year. We are going to give it to a family member so I was making sure its road worthy as last year it threw a couple codes (Lean on both banks). I didn't mess with it at the time. Now that we are giving it to someone I wanted to make sure it was road worthy. I changed the Fuel filter and that seemed to fix the Lean Codes as I took it for a long drive and it ran good. I did notice when I parked that the thermostat housing was leaking so I replaced that and while I was in there I went ahead and changed out the injectors as they were due. When I put it all back together it will barely run (wont idle, backfires a little out of the snorkle). Will not idle, if I give it gas it will somewhat Rev, but very sporadic. I noticed if I unplug the MAF sensor it will run. So I replaced the MAF with a new one, and it still does the same thing. It seems like the timing is off/fuel is being dumped in and after doing a little googling some people have had luck with the Crankshaft or Camshaft sensors being the culprits so I was going to try those next. Which gets me to my question: I cannot seem to find either of those sensors. Can anyone help ?

Also any inout on what you'll may think it is would be much appreciated!

That helped!

If anyone reads this at some point. The camshaft position sensor is on the valve cover that is toward the front of the motor (right side of the valve cover)

The crankshaft sensor is a bit more tucked away, but its basically just below the cam sensor below the spark plugs. I had to pull the snorkel and move the radiator hoses to the side to get my hand down there to access it. Basically you pull the snorkel and look down below the plugs and you will see it.
