Hi,
I am new to the forum so please bear with me if I do not put my details correctly. I have a 2005 Reg Freelander and every so often when I am driving, I can see the Transmission Control & Hill Descent Lights come on (together). A few minutes later while I am still driving, the lights go off on their own. I have got an OBD II reader and use Torque Pro to read the codes but the reader says no fault codes logged. Its quite difficult to reproduce when the lights go on and off but is starting to worry me now. Can someone please advise what the issue could be?

You will likely need a rover specific tool not the Torque app to pull the codes it might be setting. Torque is fantastic but it generally can't dive deep enough in the brain of a Rover

I have a freelander 1 and nanocom dont do a device for them.

 

iLand by Atlantic British seems to cover your truck. Never used that one before. Seems to be a love or hate relationship with them.

There is a thread or two on here about that specific tool
