Freelander Rear window/Door

Freelander Rear window/Door
Hi all.
My mother has a 2001 Freelander wagon (5 door) and the Rear Window and Door will not open.
I am thinking it is a rear Window problem as the window will not come down by pressing the button on the dash niether.
The rear washer/wiper works and thats it.[/align][/align]PS: I am in Brisbane Australia.
Any help would be great!!
