Hi.
My daughter recently bought a 2003 Freelander. It came with some issues, so I took it to a local dealer here in Vancouver to do a once over. Imagine my surprise when the agent told me to my face that the car wasn't worth spending money on and that Land Rover had done a mass recall and paid off to destroy the model!! I have written to executives at Land Rover to check this story but never got a reply. Another surprise is I haven't found any mention of this major move by Land Rover on the web?!!! Maybe this forum can give us info to put this to rest.

 

He was likely right about not wasting the money unless you have the diesel. The buyback is however 100% bogus
