Default little difference on fuel pump Freelander Petrol.

I have a problem with my fuel pump and filter. In Mexico its hard and expensive to get parts from Land Rover, I found a remplacement for the fuel pump but have a little difference, the original part don't have any return conection, the remplacement part have one. I don't know if have a problem weld this return conection. I think that increment the pressure. Do you have any idea?

Hi Saru.
It's a 2003 year. The engine model is a KV6. In fact the original fuel pump it's a VDO system. The remplacement part is a VDO module pressure. Both pump fuel are high pressure system. I have some photo but can't show here. Thanks for you recomendations.

They fuel pumps were actually under recall in the US. Might be the same for Mexico. If not take a trip over the border.

They were junk. We replaced every single one under warrantee.
Call the nearest dealer and talk with them. if it has a US vin number it will be under warrantee. just take it north of the border. If its Mexico you can call land rover and check with them.
