Hi - new to Landrovers so some advice appreciated please. I have a 2004 Freelander td4 SE & the rear driver side door would not unlock on central locking however would lock. The door would only open from the inside but once opened from the inside it would also open from the outside until locked again. I have replaced the lock & the solenoid is now lifting the lock stick on unlocking & retracting on locking with the key fob but the door will not open. When I fitted the new lock it worked a couple of times with both inside & outside handles but no longer - some sort of mechanical failure? I have removed the door card & got my hand behind the lock & tried to move the catches I can reach but no success - door still stuck shut & now the cable has come off too - any ideas on how to get the door open please?
