Just FYI, we are in a class action lawsuit with Land Rover. THe F&%$lander is not a reliable car and its unsafe. Anyone who already has a F*#$lander & has had multiple problems with or any problems with LRNA or contact the NHTSA.

Sounds like another Yuppie Liberal whiner who loves to suebecause the coffee that spilled in his lap while driving was just a little too hot!! Welcome to America where those with 8 years of college, making $300 or more an hour, can't think logically like the rest of us!!

dont buy an auction car. know where it came from. do schedualed matnice, (it costs less in the end). figure about an extra $1500 dollars in repairs and service on the purchase price for every 60-75k miles you plan to drive it. Fore most people (including me) the smile on your face evertime you drive it, outweights the prices.

I have a 2004 Freelander HSE. So far:

o both power windows have broken while the windows were down (waiting to be fixed),
o tailgate sensor reports the tailgate being open when I hit a bump (waiting to be fixed),
o sunroof motor was replaced (~$800),
o brake switch recall service performed two or three times,
o some major engine service repaired at exactly 49,999 miles (under warranty still).

Please get in touch with Mr. Gutman. We have a class action lawsuit against Landrover. I have a 2003 Freelander, I've replaced the engine, the fuel pump, the brakes on passenger side at least 10 times. My car sat at the LR dealership in american fork Utah for 10 months. My car was still under the original factory warranty. I was given a rental car for 10 months. After all was said & done I got stuck with a rebuilt engine at the price of $7000, a rental car bill $6000, paid for a car that I did not use for 10 months & insurance on that car. Finally, after finding others that had the same problems with thier freelander and a young lady on you tube who had wanted to file a class action law suit. Land Rover North America would never return my phone calls, and blamed me for being negligent in the care of my car & thats why I had the problems. I had paperwork, showing that I had done the recommended oil changes etc. I recieved a phone call from Michael at LRNA customer relations, last week & this week, trying to reimburse me for the engine. I forwarded the phone call to Mr. Gutman in hopes that we will soon have these unsafe vehicles off of the road & no one will ever purchase one of these money pits AGAIN!!!
