Td4 cam sensor
I am trying to diagnose starting problem on my 2003 td4.
it’s a bit random and seems to be weather dependent. It will start with easy start.
Anyway I have done low pressure fuel pump and filter. Removed and cleaned injectors. Checked regulator o ring and seal and Replaced glow plugs. Not made anydifference.
So looking at voltage on cam sensor. With ignition on its 11.82v. Engine running it only drops to 11.6 ish. I think that indicatessensor might be dodgy. If I unplug completely the engine will not start at all so it’s clearly working to some extent.
Any thoughts?
