td4 starting problem
my freelander has a intermitent starting fault.sometimes it turns over but will not fire up.If you leave it for a while it starts o.k.When its running its fine,it always starts if left over night.has any boby any ideas.[&o]

Wow, we are experiencing the exact same issue with our 03 HSE!
totally sporadic, you put the key in & all electrics fire up you can here the fuel pump prime, but when you go to turn the ignition over...... nothing!
it has been at the dealer 3 times now for this, they find nothign wrong!!! it has left my wife stranded 10 times now. she is currently affriad to drive it!
last time it happened we had it towed to the dealership (Bedford NH landrover!) and sure as hell, it fired right up. they kept it for 3 days & nothign happened!
getting about ready to trade it in!!!!
any help/info/news would be most helpful as the dealership is reportign that this is an unheard of issue!!!!
