I have a 2001 V6and have acquired an 2nd hand auto with IRD attached and ready to fit. I've found someone to fit it (I live in rural Australia) but we're desperate for a process guide to follow. All manuals are for 4 cylinders. Only V6 manual is for a Rover Car (2wd). I've down loaded LR workshop manual but it tells you how to rebuild the gearbox, not how to remove and replace.

Kinda desperate for some help please. I have three LR's and I'm keen to rescue this one from the scrap yard.

Can anyone steer me to remove and replace instructions for an auto transmission on a V6 2001 Freelander? Much obliged.
