Hi there,
I am looking forward to buy my first landrover from 2000-2003year,
any ideas what engine would be the best ?
as someone told me don't go for 1.9petrol they are bad, is that true?
What's common faults for landrovers?

The common faults for Land Rovers are lack of maintenance and the inability of one's wallet to keep pace with the stealership. A pre-purchase inspection by your indy mechanic is worthwhile.
