Default Water coolant problems

Hi all my problem is with a 55 plate freelander 1.8 petrol , i have like many been loosing water not large amounts but enough to get me slightly concerned.

I have had New

Head gasket
Water pump
coolant bottle sensor

But still i loose small amounts of water and the light stays on the dash board , until i had the sensor replaced just over a week ago but today it came back on.

I managed to get back to my garage and they checked the sensor by taking it out replacing it back in and the light went of for 20 seconds.

I have asked for another to be fitted which they will but anyone know if the problem could be a wiring issue ? but i m concerned i m spending money but still problems.

Help

A passive pressure test of the cooling system may reveal a leak. In the States the parts stores rent or loan the tester, you pump up the cooling system to like 15 PSI with engine off and wait 30 minutes for leak to show up. Of course, on a Freelander, with a wheel barrow full of hose clamps, there are plenty of places to leak. Coolant caps can be suspect, if they vent instead of holding pressure it can leak while driving. Some zip tie a paper towel over the overflow vent line, and see if the towel gets wet.

Others just throw in a bottle of cooling system leak stop and call it a day.
